Nose Bleeds: Causes and Treatment
If nose bleeds become regular then diving should be stopped until the problem is found. Equalizing may start a nose bleed all over with a severe accumulation of blood in the mask. To treat the nose bleed, use some cellulose or cotton wool and plug the nose firmly. When removing the plug, do it slowly as to avoid sneezing which will start it all over again. Do not blow the nose for a few hours afterwards but only wipe away any mucus or blood left.
